Our Story
Epic Mental Health, PLLC was founded with a mission to address the disparities in mental health treatment, particularly focusing on marginalized populations and substance use disorders. In 2023, our provider recognized the lack of access to treatment for individuals with opioid use disorder in central Mississippi, compounded by financial constraints hindering their ability to seek help. Through her work with this population, she observed how trauma and adverse childhood experiences contributed to their conditions, leading her to believe that addressing underlying psychiatric and psychosocial factors was key to effective substance abuse treatment.
With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those in need of mental health support, our team at Epic Mental Health, PLLC is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to empower individuals on their journey to recovery.

Our provider is a doctoral-prepared advanced practice mental health professional specializing in dual diagnoses treatment with a focus on addiction medicine for over two years. With ASAM certification in Addiction Medicine and five years of experience as an advanced practice Registered Nurse, our team brings a wealth of expertise to the field. Additionally, our social workers have a combined experience of over 10 years in psychiatry and substance use disorders, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality, specialized care tailored to their needs.
